Obituary for Walburga "Bridget" Arndt

Walburga "Bridget" Arndt

Age 78, of Plum, on Friday, March 30, 2018. Sister of Bernard Arndt and the late Anna Mary Schwan, Joseph Arndt, Leo Grahm, Dolores Ley and Paul Arndt; Survived by 13 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces and nephews. Bridget lived her life in such a way that the fear of death never entered her heart. She tended to her friends and her family- with joy, and love. Her generosity was always felt, whether in a gift of jewelry, a card, a two dollar bill, or better yet, the sharing of incredible stories of her youth and her genuine desire to bring the family together. As a female welder, she modeled fortitude and grit, and her steadfast service to her church and to God modeled her faith. She knew how to carry a presence in a room, and that presence will be truly missed by all that knew her. She has taught us all how to live authentically. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. Januarius Church. Donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League. Arrangements by Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd.
